Entrepreneurs will be helped to develop a strategy and roadmap and prepare them for entering the international market.

Moscow export center (IEC) opens the acceptance of applications for participation in the sixth stream of the “Exporters 2.0” acceleration program. Entrepreneurs will be helped to prepare for entering the international level, develop a strategy and roadmap, and expand sales markets.

Companies registered in Moscow at least six months ago, without budget debts in the amount of more than 100 thousand rubles, that are not in the process of reorganization, liquidation, bankruptcy or suspension of activities, can take part in Exporters 2.0. Apply available on the website of the Moscow Export Center.

“Acceleration programs are one of the effective tools to support export-oriented companies in Moscow. Thus, over the past year, the IEC launched seven programs for entrepreneurs with co-financing of up to 90 percent, some of them were available free of charge. At the same time, the number of companies participating in accelerators has exceeded 200, which is three times more than in previous years,” said the head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow

Alexey Fursin.

The program will be carried out jointly with the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo, the IEC will co-finance 85 percent of the cost of participation.

Exporters 2.0 consists of four modules. Trainings and consultations will be held on campus. During the training, entrepreneurs will be working with expert curators, professionals with experience in international sales, as well as representatives of key development institutions. Thus, lectures by the founders of the Center for Negotiations and Network Organizations at the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo, Moti Kristal and Marat Atnashev, are scheduled. They will talk about the basics of effective communication. Alexander Nenashev, head of the strategic design bureau, will present possible product models.

Graduates of previous acceleration streams confirm the effect of training in the development of foreign sales. Thus, a company that develops unmanned electric trucks was able to identify specific areas for export and quickly form an action plan within the framework of the program.

“We decided to export cargo transportation services and start with the UAE, Finland, Italy and England. With the help of the Exporters 2.0 program, we systematized our approach to export, we were able to see how professionals who have been doing it for a long time do it, learn from the mistakes of others and save time to go out into the world,” said Ilya Fedichev, general designer of the company.

As a result of completing the Exporters 2.0 program, graduates of previous streams were able to launch sales in Germany, the Netherlands, the USA, Canada, Argentina, Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia and the CIS countries.

Moscow export center helps city entrepreneurs to promote their products and services to foreign markets. One of the key tasks of the center is to increase the number of Moscow exporters and implement projects for the effective development of their foreign economic activity.
