Nearly 50,000 people have moved into new apartments.

During the implementation renovation programs put into operation more than 180 houses, said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for urban planning policy and construction Andrey Bochkarev.

“Since the beginning of the renovation program, 182 residential buildings have been put into operation, the total area of ​​​​apartments in them is 2.4 million square meters, 151 new buildings have been transferred for settlement,” the deputy mayor said.

Today, in the capital, they are working on projects for houses or building buildings, the total area of ​​​​apartments in which is more than six million square meters. The total area of ​​buildings under construction is 2.6 million square meters, the total area of ​​houses under design is 3.7 million square meters.

Head of the capital Department of urban planning policy Sergei Levkin specified that under the renovation program, 160 old buildings were completely settled, almost 50 thousand people have already moved to new apartments.

The renovation program was approved in 2017. Thanks to it, about one million Muscovites will be able to improve their living conditions. Improved finishing is provided for in the apartments, and infrastructure facilities are being created in the districts: kindergartens, schools, clinics, sports complexes, cultural centers are being built.
