In the west of the capital, residents of 51 houses are moving under a renovation program, said the head Department of urban planning policy of the city of Moscow Sergei Levkin.

“Currently, resettlement is underway in the district in seven districts: Mozhaisk, Prospekt Vernadsky, Filiakh-Davydkovo, Kuntsevo, Solntsevo, Filevsky Park, Ochakovo-Matveevsky. About 10.9 thousand residents of 51 buildings are in the stage of resettlement or completion of the move. Now 19 houses have been dismantled, six more have been completely resettled and are being prepared for demolition,” said Sergey Levkin.

In the Western Administrative District, the renovation program includes 559 houses, the total area of ​​apartments in which is 1,692.8 thousand square meters. 105 thousand people live in them.

Sergey Levkin clarified that 37 houses are at the design and construction stage in the district, 24 new buildings have been put into operation. 22 residential buildings were transferred for settlement.

The renovation program was approved in August 2017. For its implementation, 534 launch pads were selected. Thanks to it, about one million Muscovites will be able to improve their living conditions.
