Also, the station is equipped with three elevators for passengers with limited mobility.

Four escalators are being installed at the Nagatinsky Zaton station on the eastern section of the Big Circle Line (BKL) of the metro. Also, the builders have begun large-scale work on the installation of engineering equipment.

In addition to escalators, preparations are underway to install three elevators for passengers with limited mobility. One of them will allow you to go down from the entrance to the level of the cash hall, and the other two – directly to the platforms. There are coastal platforms at the station, so separate lifting mechanisms are provided for each.

In addition, a traction step-down substation is being installed for the installation of life support systems for the station. The necessary equipment is already inside the station complex.

The overall construction readiness of the Nagatinsky Zaton station is 62 percent. Monolithic and earthworks are being completed, as well as backfilling of the pit. Architectural finishing is carried out in the technical rooms. In the near future, finishing work will also begin in the passenger area.

The eastern section of the BCL includes the Klenovy Bulvar, Nagatinsky Zaton, Pechatniki and Tekstilshchiki metro stations. The length of the segment is about 11 kilometers. Its opening will improve the transport accessibility of several districts in the south-east of Moscow.

The construction of the Big Circle Line is the main project of the capital’s metro construction. Its length will be more than 70 kilometers, 31 stations will be located on the ring, 22 of which are already open to passengers.
