During the event, the results of the activities of the educational organization in the past year were summed up and priority areas for 2022 were identified.
The meeting was opened and the head of the Personnel Department of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia Alexander Matveenko spoke with an assessment of the work of the departmental university, emphasizing that the team made tremendous efforts to establish and develop the educational organization.
The main report on the results achieved, problematic issues and plans for the future of the University of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia was made by its head, chairman of the academic council Alexander Krymov. He thanked the leadership of the penitentiary department, the Government of St. Petersburg, the administration of the Pushkinsky district, as well as rectors of universities and heads of law enforcement agencies for their help and support.
People’s Artist of the RSFSR, famous theater and film actor, member of the Board of Trustees of the University Mikhail Boyarsky, Chairman of the Council of Rectors of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region Alexei Demidov, Prosecutor of the Pushkinsky District of St. Petersburg Alexei Timoshenko, the first head of the educational institution Alexander Volokh and others spoke at the meeting.
After summing up the results, an awards ceremony was held for employees who achieved high results in their performance.
During the meeting of the first Board of Trustees of the university, which included well-known Russian public figures in the field of jurisprudence, politics and culture, issues of organizing work in 2022 were considered and a chairman was elected. Sergey Stepashin, Chairman of the Association of Lawyers of Russia, became the chairman.
It should be noted that on this day, on the territory of the university, a solemn opening of monuments-busts to statesmen took place: Alexander Nevsky, Peter I, Alexander II and Mikhail Galkin-Vrassky.
