About a thousand families will be able to start moving.

Until the end of February, participants renovation programs will be able to start moving to new apartments, six new buildings have been prepared for them in four districts of Moscow, said the head of the capital Department of urban planning policy Sergei Levkin.

“One new building will be handed over in the Central and Northern administrative districts, two more houses in the southeast and southwest of Moscow. It is expected that by the end of February, about one thousand families will start resettlement,” the head of the department noted.

New buildings are located in Basmanny (CAO) and Dmitrovsky (SAO) districts, in Kuzminki (SEAD), as well as in Zyuzin and Konkov (SWAD).

According to the renovation program, 70.2 thousand Muscovites from 425 houses have already moved to new apartments or are in the process of moving. For them, 183 houses were built with a total area of ​​​​2.4 million square meters of apartments, 151 new buildings have already been put into operation.

The renovation program was approved in 2017. Thanks to it, about one million Muscovites will be able to improve their living conditions. 534 launch pads have been selected for its implementation.
