The acceptance of applications for participation in the photo exhibition “OBJECTIVELY about Moscow” has begun. Works can be submitted until April 1 inclusive, said the head of the capital Department of urban planning policy Sergei Levkin.

“Photos taken after January 1, 2021 are accepted. This year, five nominations have been determined: “Geometry of the City”, “In Harmony with Nature”, “In the Rhythm of the City”, “Black and White Art”, “Preserving History,” he said.

The best photos can be seen in the “House on Brestskaya” from May 17 to 31, they will be selected by the jury. It will include not only photographers, teachers of specialized institutions, experts from other fields of art, but also the winners of last year’s competition. Photos will be evaluated online on a 10-point system, taking into account technical and artistic performance, compositional and color solutions and unusual presentation, as well as how the work corresponds to the nomination. For the transparency of the voting, the jury will not see the name of the author and the title of the work during the selection.

The purpose of the photo exhibition is to create a general idea of the urban developments taking place in Moscow, as well as to show with the help of a photographic lens how they change the quality of life of citizens.
