This will significantly improve transport links between neighboring regions.

Two overpasses are planned to be built in the north-east of the capital. The first was designed between Menzhinsky and Dudinka streets, the second – between Malygina street and Malyginsky proezd.

The viaducts should improve the transport links of neighboring regions (Yaroslavsky, Losinoostrovsky and Babushkinsky), which are now separated by railway lines.

“The nearest metro stations to the Yaroslavsky district are located in Babushkinsky and Losinoostrovsky. But it is impossible to drive to them in a straight line because of the railway. This leads to an overload of the transport hub at the intersection of Yeniseiskaya street and Yaroslavskoe highway. The implementation of these projects will help to form the integrity and connectivity of disparate territories and form new transport routes in the region,” she said.

Yuliana Knyazhevskaya, chairman Moscow Committee for Architecture.

New overpasses will reduce travel time for motorists and public transport passengers. In addition, it is assumed that bicycle routes will pass along them.

Projects for the construction of overpasses were submitted for public discussion. You can ask questions to consultants and express your wishes in a special sectionon the Active Citizen website. All proposals received during the discussions will be considered by the authors of the projects.
