Specialists have already installed reinforced concrete supports and assembled the superstructure.
Construction of a traffic interchange at the intersection of the understudy of Lyublinskaya street and the southern part new speed diameter completed by 34 percent, said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for urban planning policy and construction Andrey Bochkarev.
“Currently, as part of the project to create an understudy of Lyublinskaya Street, which will actually become a new outbound highway of the capital, a traffic interchange is being built at the intersection of the understudy with the southern part of the new high-speed diameter. The readiness of the interchange today is estimated at 34 percent,” said the Vice Mayor.
Specialists have already installed bored piles and reinforced concrete supports, as well as assembled a reinforced concrete superstructure. “Work is underway to concrete the span structure, install the metal structures of the span structure and re-lay utility lines. Also today, a section of the road network from Yuzhnoportovaya Street to Projected Proyezd No. 3723 with a length of 4.5 kilometers is being designed, including an overpass at the intersection of railway tracks between 2nd Yuzhnoportovy Proyezd and Yuzhnoportovaya Street. Construction is planned to begin before the end of the year,” Andrey Bochkarev added.
As part of the project to create an understudy of Lyublinskaya Street, nine kilometers of roads, including six overpasses, will be built and reconstructed.
An understudy link will connect the Central, South-Eastern and Southern administrative districts of the capital, unload Volgogradsky Prospekt, Lyublinskaya Street and Kashirskoye Highway. The traffic on Andropov Avenue, Shosseinaya Street and Volgogradsky Avenue will also be reduced due to an alternative route on the section from Lyublinskaya Street to the Third Transport Ring. It will become easier to leave the Pechatniki district in the direction of the Besedinskoye Highway on the Moscow Ring Road. In addition, new opportunities will open up for the reorganization of the South Port industrial zone.
The South-Eastern and North-Eastern chords are planned to be merged into a city highway, its working name is the new high-speed diameter. It will stretch from Simferopol highway to the M11 Moscow-St. Petersburg highway, pass through six districts of Moscow and connect 44 metropolitan areas with a population of more than 4.5 million people.
The length of the new highway is 68 kilometers, the road goes from south to north of the city, bypassing the center. It is planned that the integrated highway will be ready already in 2023.
