Classes of schools and groups of kindergartens, which are currently under quarantine, will return to classes on February 7 or 8.

The Moscow Operational Headquarters for Controlling and Monitoring the Coronavirus Situation reports that people who have been in contact with COVID-19 patients are no longer required to observe the isolation regime. The corresponding order is contained in the decision of Rospotrebnadzor.

The new rules also apply to classes in schools and groups of kindergartens that were previously quarantined for COVID-19. In-person attendance at educational institutions will resume on February 7 or 8 – the exact date will be set by the educational organization. At the initiative of the parents of the pupils of the class or pupils of the groups, the current quarantine may be extended until the previously prescribed period.

Quarantine in Moscow schools and kindergartens, as before, will be introduced by the decision of the educational institution if more than 20 percent of children are absent from the class or group due to illness.
