Most residents of a five-story building on Amurskaya Street have chosen new apartments for moving under the renovation program, said the head of the capital Department of urban planning policy Sergei Levkin. 75 out of 80 families have already signed the relevant documents.
“94 percent of the residents of the building at 74 Amurskaya Street have chosen new apartments. They were offered options for equivalent apartments in the first new building to be occupied in the Golyanovo district – house 71 on Schelkovskoye Highway, ”said Sergey Levkin.
The new house is located near the resettled. Children will be able to attend the same preschool institutions, schools and clinics. In addition, the Shchelkovskaya station of the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya metro line is within walking distance.
In Golyanovo, 101 houses with a total area of 413 thousand square meters are subject to resettlement and demolition. They are home to 25.3 thousand people.
“As part of the first stage of the renovation program (until the end of 2024), it is planned to start resettling more than 8.5 thousand people. In subsequent years (until 2032 inclusive) – another 16.8 thousand inhabitants, ”added Sergey Levkin.

The renovation program was approved in 2017. Thanks to it, about one million Muscovites will be able to improve their living conditions. 534 launch sites have been selected for the implementation of the program. Citizens are provided with apartments with improved finishes, and schools, kindergartens, clinics, sports centers and other social infrastructure facilities are being built in the districts.
