You can sign up for excursions from 8 to 18 February. The number of participants in each walk is limited.

On February 20, the city will host over 130 free tours. They will be led by professional guides who will tell you about the architectural monuments on Prechistenka, and will also offer to climb the roof of a building in the Tagansky District to see Moscow from a new angle.

You will have the opportunity to see Moscow from a bird’s eye view on a tour of the Tagansky District. The guide will offer to climb to the roof of the building, which offers a beautiful view of the capital. Guests will learn what historical sites and architectural monuments are located on Taganka, and also why local residents used to often become heroes of humorous plays and cartoons.

During the program “Magnificent Prechistenka and Its Noble Citizens”, you can see the house of General Mikhail Orlov, the Austrian Embassy (Nikolai Mindovsky’s mansion), the House of Scientists and the historic fire station, as well as the Dolgorukovs’ estate and Ivan Morozov’s mansion. The guide will introduce the tourists to the architectural styles that have dominated Russia for three centuries, and will also tell you how they studied at the famous Arsenyevskaya gymnasium for girls and the Polivanov gymnasium for boys.

On other historical excursions, it will be proposed to visit the chambers of the Zinovievs – Yusupovs and the estate of the princes Kurakins on Novaya Basmannaya – a two-story residential mansion of the classicism era.

Car lovers are invited to visit the exhibition “Moskvich’s Dream” at VDNKh, in the historical pavilion “Transport of the USSR”. The guests, together with the guide, will trace the history of the Moskvich brand. The exposition is presented by 30 exhibits.

Moonlight. A Walk with Yesenin” offers a fascinating journey through the old Yesenin streets and alleys around the poet’s museum. And an excursion to the Moscow Zoo will allow you to get acquainted with the family of Asian elephants. Experts will talk about the nature of animals, their behavior, and also show how they manage to establish contact with them.
