The annual award ceremony “Best Dogs of Russia” took place in Moscow. Drathaar Gretta won this year in the nomination “The Best Service Dog – Rescuer of Russia”. The winner is about 7 years old, and she regularly takes part in search work in the natural environment. The dog was involved in such search and rescue operations as the search for the bodies of those killed in the collapse of a house in Izhevsk.

Gretta has served in the Kazan Search and Rescue Team since 2015. Together with cynologist Svyatoslav Yakovlev, she won many awards, including the title of vice-champion of the XX All-Russian cynological competitions in 2016. Stanislav began to prepare Gretta for service in the emergency department as a puppy – from 2 months old, training her obedience and search skills.
