From February 12 to February 28, in Bitsevsky Forest, you can take part in the environmental and educational quest “Give Warmth”. It is organized Ecocenter “Forest Fairy Tale”. The participants of the quest will walk through the snow-covered forest and learn how to properly feed the birds in winter, where birds spend the night and how they adapt to bad weather. You can participate alone or as part of a team – with family, friends or class.

How is the quest

Before you go to the Bitsevsky forest, you need to prepare: collect food for the birds. These can be unroasted and unsalted seeds, wild grass seeds, dried white bread crumbs, oatmeal, unsalted lard, nuts, except for almonds, acorns, dried rowan and hawthorn berries.

The quest starts from the entrance to the eco-center “Forest Fairy Tale”. You will need to find a QR code in the place and scan it with your smartphone. After that, a quest map and a form for answering the questions of the game will open on your smartphone. Next, you need to enter your email, the name of the quest participant or the name of the team.

After that, you can start. The participants will have to find 10 points with tasks in the Bitsevsky Forest and enter the answers to the questions in an electronic card. Along the way, you need to fill the bird feeders with food and evaluate their decoration. The birdhouses were decorated by students of the capital’s school of arts No. 11. The author of the feeder, which will score the most marks, will receive a prize.

The results of the quest will be sent to the specified e-mail. Gifts await especially distinguished participants.
