Ticket to visit the House-Museum of Marina Tsvetaeva as part of the Moscow Museum Week campaign. The poetess settled here in 1914 with her husband Sergei Efron and daughter Ariadna and lived until 1922. For the first time, Tsvetaeva felt like the mistress of her house and enthusiastically equipped the family nest. The apartment fascinated friends with whimsical decoration, a lot of antiques, a huge number of books, the warmth of the fireplace and the atmosphere of inspiration that reigned here.
After the departure of Sergei Efron to the White Army, for almost five years Marina Tsvetaeva survived under the conditions of war communism and the Red Terror, struggling with difficulties. She drew strength from creative work, patience, humor and love of life. It was during the years she lived in Borisoglebsky lane that Tsvetaeva grew into a respected poet, wrote ten books of lyrics, created the first plays and essays.
