In the village of Stolbovo, Sosensky settlement, the construction of an educational complex began. Its total area will be more than 18 thousand square meters. An institution designed for more than one thousand children will appear as part of a residential complex.

Preparatory work is currently underway at the construction site. After commissioning, the educational institution will be transferred to the ownership of the city. It will include a school for 825 students and a kindergarten for 200 children. The four-story building also has one more underground floor.

The block of preschool groups will be located separately from the school. There will be bedrooms and playrooms, music and sports halls. On the adjacent territory with a separate entrance there will be playgrounds and sports grounds for each group.

For middle and high school students there are classrooms for music, physics, chemistry, biology, a robotics class, engineering and laboratory research complexes, as well as a creative workshop.

“The facility will be brought to compliance with all safety requirements. Specialists will mount security television and lighting systems, video intercom, access control and management systems, fire alarms and evacuation management. A security post with an alarm button and means of inspection will be organized,” said the head of the Department for the Development of New Territories of the City of Moscow

Vladimir Zhidkin.

He also added that the educational complex will meet all modern requirements and standards for the design, construction and equipment of educational institutions.

In TiNAO, since 2012, 94 educational institutions have been designed, built and put into operation at the expense of the city budget and extrabudgetary sources. For each educational institution built as part of the implementation of the Targeted Investment Program, there are several objects of investors.

The construction of social facilities remains a priority in the urban development of the capital, said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for urban planning policy and construction Andrey Bochkarev. According to him, in 2022-2023, they plan to put into operation about 200 social infrastructure facilities. Most of them are being built at the expense of the city budget, but investors also make a significant contribution to this area.
