Decree of February 8, 2022 No. 129

The government will stimulate the introduction of fast electric charging stations in Russia. Manufacturers and owners of such infrastructure will receive significant tax incentives. The resolution to this effect was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

We are talking about DC-powered electric charging stations with a capacity of 150 kW or more with a charging period of up to 30 minutes. By Government Decree, they are included in the list of objects and technologies of high energy efficiency. The objects and technologies on the list are subject to tax incentives (investment tax credit, increasing coefficients to the depreciation rate, exemption from property tax).

The need to adopt a resolution is due to the growth of the electric transport fleet in Russia, which requires the creation of a mass network of EZS.

According to Concepts for the development of production and use of electric road transport in the Russian Federation, by 2030 it is necessary to deploy a network of 29 thousand fast electric charging stations throughout the country. They should charge the battery to 80% in no more than 20-30 minutes.

The signed document amendedDecree of the Government dated June 17, 2015 No. 600.
