The Russian delegation, headed by Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Oleg Khramov, included representatives of the Office of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, the Russian Ministry of Justice, the Federal Security Service of Russia, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation.

The Armenian delegation headed by the Chief of Staff of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Hayk Petrosyan included representatives of the Staff of the Security Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the National Security Service, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Armenia, and the Office for the Implementation of Electronic Governance Infrastructures CJSC.

During the consultations, a substantive exchange of views took place on the entire range of issues of Russian-Armenian cooperation in the field of ensuring security in the information sphere at international and regional platforms, as well as in a bilateral format.

A detailed “clock check” was carried out following the results of the first substantive session of the UN Open-ended Working Group on issues in the field of the use of ICTs and ICTs themselves 2021-2025. The urgency of strengthening international cooperation in the field of combating information crime was emphasized.

The importance of stepping up efforts to ensure information security within the CIS, the CSTO, and the OSCE was reaffirmed.

As a result of consultations at the expert level, a draft bilateral intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the field of information security was agreed upon.
