During the work, the historical and natural features of the territories, as well as the wishes of local residents, will be taken into account.

Comfortable places for recreation and a landscape park will appear in the Yauza park being created. They will be equipped as early as this year, said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement Peter Biryukov.

“We continue to implement the project to create a unique environmental facility – the Yauza Park, this year we plan to work on two sections in the floodplain of the river of the same name from the Moscow Ring Road to Yeniseiskaya Street. When developing the concept, the historical and natural features of the territories, the wishes of local residents were taken into account. We will carry out all activities with maximum preservation of the natural topography and vegetation,” he said.

According to him, a square will appear on the site along Severodvinskaya Street, on which a stage with an amphitheater will be located. It will be highlighted with a pergola (in the shape of an ellipse) with hanging swings. Nearby there will be a playground with a play stream and a fountain. For senior citizens, a pavilion of the Moscow Longevity project will be installed, from the second level of which a view of the labyrinth with bushes in the form of the inscription “Yauza Park” will open. They will also equip a platform with exercise equipment, a health trail with different types of coverage, an eco-square with wooden flooring and a pergola. For cyclists, a dirt park with earth jumps will be built, and for lovers of rope parks, three tracks will be laid, designed for different age categories.

Pyotr Biryukov also noted that a new public space with a cafe and a two-level playground with swings, trampolines and slides will appear on the site between Shirokaya and Yeniseiskaya streets on the existing slope. Specialists will put the reservoir in order: wooden decking will be replaced on the banks and piers will be made. A skate park will be reconstructed, a playground for playing towns, a sports complex with exercise equipment will be equipped.

In addition, a hockey box will be repaired here, which can be used for mini-football in the summer. A grandstand for spectators will be installed there, as well as playgrounds for basketball, volleyball and workout. They will also create a platform made of wooden flooring for yoga (it will be partially covered with a canopy), make a place to relax with hammocks, swings and benches. At the request of the artists, a pier will appear at the viewpoint. There will be areas for walking and training dogs. Paths and paths will be laid in both sections, as well as a convenient jogging and cycling path. “In each section along the banks of the Yauza River, it is proposed to arrange eco-trails, and with the help of nine crossing bridges to connect its banks. The territories will be additionally planted with trees, shrubs and flower beds,” added Petr Biryukov.

In addition, outdoor lighting, video surveillance, alarm and emergency notification systems will be installed in the park.

Park “Yauza” will become the longest ecological park in Europe. Its total area will be more than 350 hectares. A huge recreational area will provide a comfortable and complete rest for Muscovites and guests of the capital. The project is being implemented in several stages, at each of which certain sections along the Yauza and its tributaries are being improved.
