On February 17, Acting Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Alexander Chupriyan held working meetings on the development of the Safe City agro-industrial complex. The events took place at the site and test bench of the agro-industrial complex in Moscow.
At a meeting with Ruslan Edelgeriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Climate, A. Chupriyan presented all the functional blocks of the system, including those for environmental protection.
“The system allows to unite on the integration platform all the necessary data that contribute to the prevention of emergency situations and the adoption of operational management decisions to eliminate them,” A. Chupriyan said.
During the meeting, it was noted that the introduction of an integration platform for environmental monitoring will help preserve the ecological state of the largest water bodies, reduce emissions into the air from industrial enterprises, detect illegal dumps, reduce the response time to wildfires, and improve the safety of the population and infrastructure.
Konstantin Kalinin, Head of the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation, was shown the possibilities of developing and testing 10 predictive and analytical models, response scenarios for a wide range of emergency threats and risks. The accuracy and reliability of predictive methods can reach 87-90% if there is sufficient data.
