This became possible due to the expansion of the largest site of the special economic zone in Pechatniki.

About 1.8 thousand new jobs will appear at the Printers site of the special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow. This will happen due to the addition of another territory to the site. The site is located in the industrial zone “Southern Port” near the intersection of Yuzhnoportovaya Street, Shosseiny and 3rd Ugreshsky passages.

“About 200 companies operate in the metropolitan SEZ, of which about 90 have resident status. They develop and produce drugs, composite materials, microelectronics, ventilators, robots, screening equipment and other innovative products. Over the entire period of its existence, residents have invested almost 60 billion rubles of investments, and also created over eight thousand jobs. The expansion of the largest SEZ site in Pechatniki will additionally create about 1.8 thousand jobs. In addition, according to forecasts, the volume of private investment in the development of industries in the new territory will be about 3.7 billion rubles,” said Deputy Moscow Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations

Vladimir Efimov.

According to him, the plans for the coming years are to reorganize part of the industrial zone “South Port” under the project “Industrial quarters”. There are already three draft decisions on the integrated development of territories with a total area of about 90 hectares. More than 2.5 million square meters of real estate will be built there. There will be at least 33.6 thousand new jobs.

Companies that place their production in the new territories of the SEZ will be able to receive resident status and certain benefits in the future, the head of Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow Alexander Prokhorov.

“For example, they are exempted from paying taxes on land, property and transport, income tax for them is 2% instead of 20%. Since 2006, SEZ residents have saved more than 3.2 billion rubles in tax deductions. This allows them to allocate additional funds for the development of production,” he stressed.

Pechatniki is one of the five sites of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone, located on Volgogradsky Prospekt. There are administrative, office and logistics centers, a congress center, production facilities with clean rooms for biopharmaceuticals and microelectronics, a customs post and a temporary storage warehouse. During the existence of the site, more than 40 innovative companies have received the status of a SEZ resident here.

In total, the SEZ “Technopolis “Moscow”” has five sites with a total area of 223 hectares. In addition to Pechatnikov, they are located in Zelenograd (Alabushevo, Mikron, MIET and Angstrem).
