At the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Dagestan, under the chairmanship of the Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Dagestan Nizam Khalilov, a meeting was held on the creation of correctional centers at the production bases of enterprises and organizations.

The event was attended by: Head of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Dagestan Andrey Polyakov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Dagestan Khadzhimurad Israpilov, Head of the Industry and Innovation Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Dagestan Sakhrodin Dadaev, representatives of the business community.

Opening the event, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Dagestan Nizam Khalilov noted that the purpose of the meeting was to consider the issues of creating correctional centers at the production bases of industrial enterprises of the Republic of Dagestan.

– In 2022, it is planned to create at least 400 places in correctional centers in each subject of the Russian Federation on the basis of regional property, property of enterprises and organizations. The subjects of the Russian Federation are expected to be allocated budget allocations to create about 200 places to accommodate those sentenced to forced labor, Nizam Khalilov said.

The head of the penitentiary department of the Republic of Dagestan Andrey Polyakov spoke about the procedure, conditions and requirements for the creation of correctional centers or sites functioning as correctional centers on the production bases of enterprises and organizations.

– To date, the Federal Penitentiary Service has organized interaction with the Caspian Composite Group of Companies LLC, which includes several well-known factories of the Republic of Dagestan that produce glass products, a site has been created on the basis of the enterprise, functioning as a correctional center with a filling limit of 50 people, – noted Andrey Polyakov, head of the Federal Penitentiary Service.

Kazbek Kandaurov, General Director of Caspian Composite Group of Companies LLC, emphasized that on the bases of Makhachkala Glass Fiber Plant LLC and Dagestan Steklo Tara LLC, which are part of his company, it is planned to create sites that function as correctional centers with a filling limit 70 and 150 people using modular buildings and structures.

Other participants of the meeting expressed their interest in establishing correctional centers on the basis of their enterprises.

At the end of the meeting, the participants exchanged views and suggestions and agreed to continue work in this area of ​​activity together with the Federal Penitentiary Service.
