Now the highway is being designed, construction is planned to begin by autumn.

In TiNAO, a road will be built from Yuzhnaya Street in Shcherbinka to Zalineiny Lane in the Ryazanovsky settlement. Now specialists are engaged in designing, the development is planned to be completed this summer.

“Construction will begin by autumn 2022. This will actually be a backup of the Varshavskoe highway in this section. It will provide an opportunity to conveniently access the highway from a number of microdistricts of Shcherbinka and ensure the accessibility of the MCD-2 Ostafyevo platform for residents of the part of the city located to the east of the railway,” said the head

Department for the Development of New Territories of the City of Moscow Vladimir Zhidkin.

In addition, the project provides for the reconstruction of existing streets and the construction of exits to Varshavskoye Highway. It is planned to expand to four lanes (two in each direction) Yuzhnaya Street and Zalineiny Lane. The latter will be extended to Varshavskoye highway and will make an exit to the highway. The two received roads will be connected by a new main four-lane street of regional significance.

A turning ring for public transport will be built near the Ostafyevo railway platform. The total length of the new road will be 2.7 kilometers.

They will also make a sidewalk for pedestrians and install outdoor lighting. The road will be equipped with traffic lights and an automatic traffic control system. After the completion of the main works, the adjacent territory will be landscaped. Commissioning of the facility is scheduled for 2023.

Since the annexation of new territories to the capital, more than 300 kilometers of roads have been built in the TiNAO.

According to the Targeted Investment Program of Moscow, by the end of 2023, it is planned to put into operation about 150 more kilometers of roads here. Specialists reconstruct and build not only highways, but also district roads, as well as a street network within settlements.
