Specialists put in order the facade, entrances, replaced the internal engineering systems.
The overhaul of the building in the constructivist style, which in the Soviet years housed the House of Physical Culture and Sports, owned by the sports society “Labor Reserves”, was completed. It was built in 1926 by architect Alexei Rukhlyadev and is located at Bakuninskaya street, house 58, building 1.
The area of the house is less than three thousand square meters. Specialists removed the old plaster, restored the masonry, embroidered the seams, applied antifungal protection, new layers of plaster and paint. They replaced the external drain, repaired the plinth and entrance groups, installed new reliable doors with tight porches and sealing gaskets. On the roof, the crate, insulation and roofing were replaced, new window blocks were installed in the dormer windows. A fire-retardant composition was applied to the rafter system.
The entrances were restored to their historical appearance. The old plaster layer was replaced here, the walls and ceilings were painted, new floor tiles were laid, and modern tambour doors were installed. In addition, specialists put in order the internal engineering systems of cold water supply, heat supply and sanitation.
Moscow overhaul program is one of the largest housing modernization projects in Russia and in the world. Until 2044, more than 28,000 Moscow houses are planned to be renovated according to it (their total area is more than 275 million square meters). These are 355 thousand engineering systems and structural elements of buildings and more than 112 thousand elevators. In 2021-2023, a major overhaul of 4,437 houses in the capital is planned, their total area is 34.2 million square meters. This year, the program includes 1.7 thousand buildings.
