Decree of February 17, 2022 No. 189

Agricultural producers operating in the Far Eastern Federal District will be able to claim reimbursement of part of the costs incurred for the creation or modernization of processing industries, even if they have already received a preferential investment loan for the same purposes. The resolution, which removes the restriction on access to two support measures at once, was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The document concerns enterprises for the processing of oilseeds, fish, crustaceans and mollusks, as well as manufacturers of dry dairy products.

A comment

From Mikhail Mishustin’s opening remarks at an operational meeting with Deputy Prime Ministers on February 21, 2022

The implementation of two support measures at once will reduce the payback period for projects in the fishery complex. And this, in turn, will attract new investments in the processing of aquatic biological resources.

For producers of dry dairy products, preferential lending programs will also become an important factor in supporting investment activity. Until now, the reimbursement of part of the direct costs incurred without concessional lending to projects has not been of economic interest to entrepreneurs.

The issue was discussed at a meeting with vice-premiers on February 21. According to Mikhail Mishustin, comprehensive support will help farmers improve the quality and expand the choice of products for our consumers, and the development of processing industries will provide new jobs, including in the Far East.
