With the onset of stable warm weather, the top layer of asphalt concrete pavement will be laid and permanent markings will be applied.

The main work on the construction of the Tekstilshchiki-1 overpass has been completed. This was announced by the leader Department of construction of the city of Moscow Rafik Zagrutdinov.

“We have completed the main construction and installation work on the construction of the Tekstilshchiki-1 overpass, the lower layer of asphalt concrete pavement has been laid, the working traffic of vehicles has been opened along the overpass,” said Rafik Zagrutdinov. “With the onset of stable warm weather, the top layer of asphalt will be laid, permanent markings will be applied, and the surrounding area will be landscaped.”

The overpass is located at the intersection of Volgogradsky Prospekt and Shosseinaya Street. Under it, transport from Shosseynaya Street leaves for Volgogradsky Prospekt towards the center and from Volgogradsky Prospekt turns onto Shosseynaya Street when moving towards the center.

The length of the overpass is 50 meters with three lanes in each direction.

According to the project, 250 meters with three or four lanes in each direction on Volgogradsky Prospekt, as well as Shosseinaya Street – one or two lanes, should be reconstructed. In addition, they plan to create conditions for the movement of public transport, to make sidewalks, combining those being designed with existing ones.

Currently, work is underway to build artificial structures at the junction of Volgogradsky Prospekt with the South-East Chord, which will become part of the Moscow High-Speed ​​Diameter.

The construction of chords in Moscow should be completed by the end of 2023.
