On January 9, 2024, the Bank of Russia will put into circulation investment coins “St. George the Victorious”:

– silver one with a face value of 3 rubles (catalog No. 5111-0178);

– gold par value of 50 rubles (catalog No. 5216-0060).

Investment silver coin with a nominal value of 3 rubles (mass of precious metal in purity – 31.1 g, assay – 999) has the shape of a circle with a diameter of 39.0 mm. The investment gold coin with a nominal value of 50 rubles (mass of precious metal in purity – 7.78 g, assay – 999) has the shape of a circle with a diameter of 22.6 mm.

On the obverse and reverse sides of the coins there is a protruding edge around the circumference.

On the front side of the coins there is a relief image of the State Emblem of the Russian Federation, there are inscriptions: “RUSSIAN FEDERATION”, “BANK OF RUSSIA”, the nominal value of the coins “3 RUBLE”, “50 RUBLE”, the date “2024”, the designation of the metal according to the Periodic System of Elements D.I. Mendeleev, the proof, the trademark of the mint and the weight of the precious metal in purity.

On the reverse side of the coins is a relief image of George the Victorious on horseback, striking a serpent with a spear.

The side surface of the coins is fluted.

The coins are made by the quality of the “antsirkuleithed”.

Circulation of coins – up to 500.0 thousand pieces each.

Issued coins are legal means of cash payment in the territory of the Russian Federation and are obligatory for acceptance at face value in all types of payments without restrictions.
