The educational program “State and Municipal Management” has been implemented at SPbPU for 30 years. The university was one of the pioneers of training in this specialty. Polytechnic has trained more than three thousand highly qualified specialized specialists for local governments.

The Council of Municipalities of St. Petersburg and the University staff have many years of joint and fruitful work.

Interaction occurs on many different levels:

creation of a joint master’s degree program “Management of Urban Infrastructure and Territory Development”;
regular participation of representatives of the city’s local authorities in the implementation of the university’s educational programs, including meetings of state examination commissions;
implementation of the “Digital State” track of the SPbPU Summer School “My City is Digital” on the basis of the leading municipalities of the city, within the framework of which participants create a digital profile of the territory and a project of its sustainable socio-economic development;
permanent participation of city municipalities as customers in the realization of student projects within the framework of the course “Fundamentals of Project Activities”;
joint research and career guidance projects, and much more.

Maxim Ivanov, Deputy Director of IPMEiT, commented on the awarding: Thank you very much to Vsevolod Belikov, Chairman of the Council of Municipalities of St. Petersburg, Chairman of the Legislative Committee of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, for the high appreciation of our teachers!
