The New Year started with really cold winter weather in Moscow. And while the students and faculty of the State University of Management were enjoying their vacations, our engineering services were working hard.

To ensure comfortable living conditions in the dormitories and prevent accidents in other buildings of the university, responsible employees conducted daily inspections of engineering systems, making adjustments to their operation if necessary. Operational negotiations were held with representatives of heat supplying organizations on the operating modes of heating systems, air temperature in GUU buildings was monitored via remote access to TION MAGIC AIR system sensors. Regular cleaning of the territory was carried out.

On January 3, scheduled replacements of worn-out heat exchangers were performed in Dormitory No. 2 and on January 8 in the Main Academic Building of SUU. All works were completed on time and the systems are operating in normal mode.

GUU Vice-Rector Vitaly Lapshenkov: “I would also like to note that during the cold season, when other institutions had long failures, accidents in the hot water supply and heating systems, the preparation of engineering services of GUU allowed even during the New Year vacations to carry out the necessary work in a short time and with minimal discomfort for students living in Dormitory No. 2”.

Welcome back to the warm atmosphere of our university!
