In 2023, more than 720 metropolitan families living in apartments on social rental terms, when relocating under the renovation program, registered new housing as their property. This was announced by the Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of City Property Maxim Gaman.

“City residents who lived in houses on social rent, when relocating under the renovation program, can register a new apartment as their property. In 2023, 721 capital families took advantage of this opportunity, and over the entire period of the program – 2.3 thousand,” said Maxim Gaman.

The largest number of families in 2023 registered ownership of housing in the Novomoskovsk administrative district – 140, in the South-Eastern – 112 and in the South – 101. Another 95 families became homeowners in the east of the capital and 67 families in the west.

The documents required to register the transfer of ownership are sent by specialists of the Department to the Unified State Register of Real Estate. The average registration time is one to two days.
