Employees of the Orenburgneft company (a production asset of Rosneft) and members of their families, as well as activists of the First Movement, took part in the Winter Fun festival, which took place in the Neftchinikov Park in Buzuluk.

Supporting family traditions and values, and a healthy lifestyle is one of the important areas of Rosneft’s social policy. The company is developing the “Energy of Life” sports and fitness movement, within which employees regularly play sports and participate in various competitions and festivals.

This time, family teams of oil workers and schoolchildren of the regional “Movement of the First” determined the best in competitions and relay races, competed in speed on inflatable skis and demonstrated dexterity and skill in playing with inflatable sticks. The organizers also prepared competition tasks for fans. To bring points to their teams and keep warm in the cold, they played tug of war, sang, made up rhymes and danced.

A field kitchen with porridge and hot drinks was organized for all festival guests. Beautiful weather and lively music complemented the friendly atmosphere.

During the festival, the results of the competition of birdhouses and feeders, organized for the All-Russian Day of Wintering Birds, were summed up. The creative works of the contestants were judged in two categories: “Bird Canteen” and “Creative Birdhouse”. The winners were awarded medals, and all participants were given memorable gifts and prizes.

Orenburgneft is the key production asset of Rosneft in the Volga Federal District. The company provides employees with an expanded social package and additional social security programs. Last year, 142 babies were born into the families of oil workers, and the number of large families was 349.
