City awards in the field of tourism for 2023 were presented in the capital. 15 industry representatives became laureates in 10 categories. Another specialist was awarded the title “Honorary Tourism Worker of the City of Moscow.”

According to her, capital awards in the field of tourism are awarded for the creation of new tourism products and services, improving the quality of services and infrastructure, and introducing best practices and digital technologies.

Thus, for fruitful educational activities and the development of original excursion programs, Natalya Leonova, deputy head of the scientific and exhibition department of the House of I.S., was awarded. Ostroukhova in Trubniki. Anna Trapkova, general director of the Museum of Moscow association, was recognized for her contribution to the development of domestic tourism and the implementation of the “Moscow without Suburbs” project.

For the popularization of historical and cultural heritage, the award was presented to guide Milana Lvova. The guide and blogger Alexander Usoltsev was awarded for his contribution to the development of the city’s tourism potential and the implementation of his author’s project “Walks around Moscow”.

Representatives of travel agencies and the hotel business were also winners of the award. Among them are Olga Gulibina, Alena Eivel, Alexander Biba, Brian Gleason and Maria Znova.

The title “Honorary Tourism Worker of the City of Moscow” was awarded to Konstantin Goryainov. The award is given to those who have worked in the industry for at least 15 years, for their great personal contribution to increasing the tourist attractiveness of the capital and other merits.

Prizes in the field of physical culture, sports and tourism have been awarded since 2004. In 2022, by decision of Sergei Sobyanin, the specialized award for workers in the tourism industry was allocated as an independent award.
