The RN-Vankor company (part of the Rosneft oil and gas production complex) purchased more than five thousand units of specialized automotive equipment for the Vostok Oil project, implemented in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

In total, 24 Russian manufacturing plants took part in the supply of special-purpose vehicles, including the largest engineering corporations engaged in the production of vehicles – KamAZ, Ural and others. Almost 90% of the purchased equipment is freight transport: truck tractors with semi-trailers and tanks, dump trucks, truck cranes, as well as excavators, bulldozers, oilfield equipment and vehicles for transporting passengers.

The new equipment is already operating at production bases and facilities under construction of the Vostok Oil project, and is also involved in ensuring growing cargo transportation on winter roads. This year, RN-Vankor built more than 2 thousand km of winter roads – from the Korotchaevo production base in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug to the oil loading terminal under construction at the Bay Sever Port in Taimyr.

The fleet is maintained by the logistics operator of the Vostok Oil project, TBS-Logistics, which increased its staff by more than 5 times last year alone. In addition, service bases have been created in the north of the region – in the city of Dudinka, Sever Bay and at the Vankor field, and auxiliary repair bases have been organized at work sites.

RN-Vankor pays special attention to safety issues – all incoming equipment is already equipped with special road safety systems and is prepared for work in harsh northern conditions.

RN-Vankor LLC, a subsidiary of NK Rosneft, is the operator of the largest oil and gas production project Vostok Oil, which includes the fields of the Vankorskoye cluster (Vankorskoye, Suzunskoye, Tagulskoye and Lodochnoye), as well as the Payakhskoye cluster, located in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory . The resource base of the Vostok Oil project is 6.5 billion tons of premium oil.
