The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia summarized the results of the regional business support infrastructure for 2023. More than 550 thousand people used financial, educational, consulting and other support of the “My Business” Centers. These activities are realized within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship” initiated by the President of the Russian Federation. Andrei Belousov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government, oversees the national project.

“Today, the set of state support measures is formed in such a way as to be convenient for entrepreneurs in the first place. For those for whom personal communication is important, the regions have My Business Centers, where you can get consulting support on any issues related to doing business. As of today, every 10th entrepreneur has come into contact with the SME support infrastructure. Services are provided by different divisions focused on supporting specific business areas. For example, engineering and certification support centers work with manufacturing enterprises, social innovation centers work with social entrepreneurs, and export support centers help small and medium-sized businesses enter international markets,” said Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Tatyana Ilyushnikova.

My Business” centers, in addition to the basic set of state support measures, launch their own programs focused on the needs of businesses in a particular region.

“Each region has its own economic specifics, My Business Centers take this into account in their work. For example, in the Khabarovsk Territory, entrepreneurs will be helped with the classification of hotels. A regional brand promotion program will be launched in Pskovskaya. In Khakassia, entrepreneurs will be helped in opening a franchise business, as well as in training SME employees. In addition, regions take into account each other’s experience and implement best practices in their regions,” explained Lev Kuznetsov, Chairman of the Board of the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Development “My Business – My Opportunities.”

The infrastructure of My Business centers is also expanding. For example, from 2024, the capital’s business service centers will operate under the “My Business” brand. Similar centers are being opened in new regions to improve SMEs’ access to government support measures.
