And this year, from February 13 to 17, the tournament will be held within the university for the first time. It will consist of two stages – qualifying and final. They will be conducted by representatives of faculties who will talk in detail about how the work of physics laboratories works.

“At the Faculty of Physics we prepare future scientists. Preparing for a tournament involves painstaking research of previously proposed tasks. In fact, this is the work of a scientist in miniature. At the tournament itself, participants hone their skills in publicly presenting their results in a limited time (closely analogous to speaking at a scientific conference), opposing (quickly immersing themselves in a problem and identifying the weak points of someone else’s research) and objectively evaluating their work. Mastering skills useful for every scientist takes place within the framework of the competition, which is accompanied by additional interest on the part of participants and spectators. Our faculty supports the popularization of the physics tournament, as well as the expansion of the number of participating universities in our country.”
