On March 15, 16 and 17, 2024, presidential elections will be held in Russia.

How to vote

You can vote in the traditional way by going to the polling station. Its address and number (sometimes several polling stations operate in one room) can be found on the website of the Central Election Commission (tsik.rf) in the “Digital Services” section. To do this, just enter your home address.

If you are away

If you’ll be away, use the Mobile Voter program (officially called location-based voting). In this case, a citizen can cast a vote not according to his registration, but at any polling station where it is convenient for him. To do this, you must submit a corresponding application on the State Services portal by March 11. This application can also be submitted to the MFC and the territorial election commission, and from March 6 to 11 – to any precinct election commission.

If you find it difficult to leave the house

If for health reasons or other reasons it is difficult for you to get to the polling station, you are allowed to vote at home. To do this, from March 7 to 17, you must contact your local election commission in person or by phone and ask them to come to you with a portable ballot box.

Will it be possible to vote remotely in St. Petersburg?

In St. Petersburg, as well as in the Leningrad region, remote electronic voting (DEG) will not be used in 2024.
