On February 29, at the State University of Management, a meeting was held between representatives of the Moscow Export Center of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow (ANO “MEC”) Maria Maslova and Anastasia Karagezyan with foreign students of the State University of Management. The meeting was attended by more than 40 SUM students studying in undergraduate, graduate and graduate programs from Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Nepal, Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, Chad and other countries.

The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the head of the department for the implementation of international projects of the Office of International Cooperation, Inessa Bogatyreva, and the head of the practical training department of the Department of Academic Policy and Implementation of Educational Programs, Alexander Rudoy.

The leading speaker of the meeting was Maria Maslova, head of the educational programs department of the Department of Educational and Acceleration Programs of the ANO “MEC”. In her speech, Maria Maslova presented the Export Lab project, aimed at interaction between foreign students of Moscow Universities and exporting companies. The goal of the project is to create loyalty and stimulate recognition of Russian high-tech brands among foreign students studying in Moscow, as well as provide the opportunity to undergo an internship in Moscow export-oriented companies and gain invaluable experience. The speaker noted a number of key advantages of internships in Moscow companies, including language practice, familiarity with the real sector of the economy, adaptation in the country of residence and study, application of acquired knowledge and skills in practice.

A step-by-step algorithm of actions was presented, allowing foreign students to easily integrate into the Export Lab project. It is enough to leave an application on the Export Lab project website, send a resume, then the MEC will contact the student and inform about the next meeting with the companies participating in the project. The student just has to register, take part in the event and choose suitable companies for further interaction. The event aroused great interest among students. The meeting ended with a question-answer block and a questionnaire.

As a result of the event, it is planned to sign an agreement between the State University of Management and the Moscow Export Center of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow and the entry of the State University into the partner network of the Export Lab project.

The Department of International Cooperation expresses gratitude to all the heads of the Institutes for their assistance in organizing this meeting.
