A new training stream under the “Productivity Leaders” management training program was launched, which brought together more than 200 managers of Russian enterprises from 44 regions of the country. The program is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and is aimed at developing critical business competencies of top and middle managers in the modern market conditions.

“In his Address to the Federal Assembly, the President set the goal to radically increase labor productivity. For this purpose it is necessary to cover at least 40% of companies in basic non-resource industries by 2030 with projects to improve labor productivity. It is possible to launch such projects and develop the results of lean manufacturing implementation only with the support of enterprise management. The Productivity Leaders program, which will cover about 10,000 managers by the end of the year,” said Murat Kerefov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

Moscow, Moscow Region and St. Petersburg, as well as the Republic of Bashkortostan and Voronezh Region became the leaders in terms of the number of participants in the new training stream. A total of four training streams are planned for this year, during which a total of 750 Russian managers will undergo retraining.

“In February, our program celebrated its fifth anniversary. We see that more and more companies are investing in training managers: our graduates have already become more than 9,500 managers who, together with the program experts, have developed more than 1,000 live projects to improve the efficiency of specific enterprises. Thanks to their implementation, businesses manage to find growth points for the medium term and achieve stable productivity growth by an average of 15-45%,” said Ekaterina Grishina, Director of the Center for Productivity Improvement of VAVT of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and head of the Productivity Leaders program.

The “Productivity Leaders” educational program is one of the systemic measures to support business, developed at the request of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation within the framework of the national project “Labor Productivity”, which is supervised by First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov. The program is implemented on the basis of the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. By the end of 2024, about 10 thousand senior and middle managers of manufacturing, agriculture, trade, transportation and construction industries will be trained.
