The Institute of Marketing of the State University of Management summed up the results of the next season of the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Tournament “Hi-Tech Breakthrough”. Several months of competitions united Russian and foreign students around current trends in high-tech marketing.

The tournament was held in 3 stages: testing for knowledge of the basics of marketing, preparing an appeal to a potential investor, and defending projects dedicated to the development of product strategies and promotion programs for hi-tech products. More than 200 participants from Russia and 15 other countries of the world demonstrated their talents: Algeria, Armenia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Cape Verde, Kazakhstan, Cameroon, Kyrgyzstan, Congo, Mali, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Chad.

Over 80 undergraduate students from 12 constituent entities of the Russian Federation and more than 100 foreign citizens presented original projects based on the use of digital technologies, artificial intelligence and innovative materials in various industries and fields of activity – from transport to the restaurant business, from the processing industry to the fashion industry.

Based on the results of the finals, 63 winners and runners-up – citizens of foreign countries – who showed the best personal achievements, became candidates for enrollment in the 2024-2025 academic year in the master’s degree program “High-Tech Marketing” of the Institute of Marketing within the quota approved by the Government of the Russian Federation. Another 8 foreign finalists are included in the reserve.

The best among the Russians in the final was a student of the Institute of Marketing, Alexandra Nedashkovskaya – she will receive an additional 20 points upon admission to the master’s program “High-Tech Marketing”. The other two prize places were taken by graduate students of the Institute of Economics and Finance and the Institute of Marketing of the State University of Management – Irina Presnova and Elizaveta Veshkina. They will receive 10 additional points in the entrance examination. Other finalists of the Tournament will receive an additional 5 points upon admission to this master’s program.
