Volunteer training for the All-Russian Student Rescue Corps has begun at the State University of Management.

Representatives of the VSKS from the new constituent entities of Russia arrived at the territory of the State University of Management to improve their skills in the field of rescue work. In simulated situations, volunteers will practice the practical application of knowledge on providing first aid to victims, using primary fire extinguishing equipment, technical means for emergency recovery work, and others.

Over the course of three weeks, the guys will master the practical part of the “Initial Rescue Training” program under the mentorship of experienced VSKS instructors.

Completion of training and successful passing of all exams will give participants the right to be certified for the qualification “Rescuer of the Russian Federation”.

Volunteers who have undergone training are also extremely effective in assisting special services in eliminating the consequences of emergencies. In a number of regions, VSKS units, along with professional rescuers, function and are included in the calculations of forces and means of the fire garrisons of the subjects, and take up round-the-clock duty.

Let us remind you that since March 1, 2022, the headquarters of the Moscow city branch of the VSKS has been operating on the basis of the State University. The SMU student fire and rescue squad is a joint project of the All-Russian public youth organization “All-Russian Student Rescue Corps” and the State University of Management.
