Deputy Minister of Defense General of the Army Pavel Popov, members of the military-industrial complex board, representatives of federal executive bodies, military command and control bodies, industrial enterprises and research centers also took part in the strategic session.

Opening the strategic session, Denis Manturov noted that it is extremely important to ensure the supply of the necessary solutions in the field of information support, communications and automation equipment to the units participating in the SVO in the required volumes and on time.

“The main goal is to increase the level of coordination of troops and the effectiveness of the use of existing and also developed weapons. It is proposed to achieve this through the construction of reconnaissance-strike and reconnaissance-fire contours. In this regard, it is extremely important to ensure a rhythmic supply of the individual components included in the designated circuits. Integration of reconnaissance and destruction means, linking them in real time is a critically important task,” Denis Manturov emphasized.

During the discussion, the session participants examined all aspects of the creation and implementation of new technologies, and also got acquainted with the exhibition display of control and communication systems and detection equipment produced by Russian industrial enterprises.

The exhibition featured a small-sized station designed for automatic operation in real time in conditions of optical interference and designed to accurately determine the coordinates of targets; arrangement of a promising control point for object detection; modified multifunctional stations designed to detect and localize the location of objects, capable of tracking moving ground targets and controlling the firing of guns, and much more. The meeting participants paid special attention to the modern interspecific detection and control system, the high efficiency of which is achieved by increasing the reliability, efficiency, accuracy and completeness of data on enemy targets by obtaining information from various means of detection and automation of complex information processing.

It should be noted that industrial enterprises that presented the most promising military-technical samples within the framework of the strategy session have the opportunity to obtain resident status of VIT “Era”, as well as, in cooperation with Technopolis scientists, implement joint projects in the interests of the Ministry of Defense. A company conducting scientific research and development in the field of defense and state security, as well as creating military, special or dual-use products, which has or is ready to conduct developments in the areas of scientific research of the technopolis, can become a resident of the Era military technopolis. If these criteria are met, then the company representative must submit an application for resident status, and the Russian Ministry of Defense will conduct a scientific and technical examination of the development and submit it for consideration by the technopolis council. After approval by the board, a joint activity agreement is concluded and the company becomes a resident. In addition, the Era Foundation (part of the PSB group) has already launched an accelerator for searching and selecting innovative projects in the field of defense and state security. Its participants can receive up to 200 million rubles of investment for the implementation of promising business initiatives, as well as access to the infrastructure of the Era military technopolis. The Government also prepared amendments to tax legislation that will expand state support for new residents by zeroing out VAT for a period of 10 years.
