Alexander Novak chaired the 32nd meeting of the Federal Headquarters for Gasification

Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak chaired the 32nd meeting of the Federal Headquarters for Gasification. The event was attended by representatives of Gazprom and Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC, the Ministry of Energy, the Federal Antimonopoly Service, the Government Coordination Center, the Russian Energy Agency, the heads of the Sverdlovsk, Astrakhan and Samara regions via video conference, as well as representatives of a number of other regions.

“As of mid-March, more than 1.6 million applications for additional gasification have already been submitted, 1.19 million contracts have been concluded, and more than 534 thousand households have been connected to gas. At the same time, almost 1.2 million houses have the technical ability to connect to gas, and by the end of the year 1.5 million households should have it. As part of the implementation of the instructions given during the Presidential Address to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the main criteria for additional gasification of residential buildings in garden partnerships have been developed; regional authorities need to start working in this direction together with gas distribution organizations,” noted Alexander Novak, opening the headquarters meeting.

The Ministry of Energy, together with the Federal Antimonopoly Service, propose to install gas supply networks both to the boundaries of public land plots of gardening partnerships and to the boundaries of garden land plots on which households are located, without charging funds to applicants, while land plots and residential buildings will fall under additional gasification in SNT, mandatory registered and registered as property. According to the Ministry of Energy, the potential for additional gasification of housing in SNT is about 1.5 million houses.

Reports from a number of constituent entities of the Russian Federation were heard. The authorities of the Sverdlovsk, Astrakhan and Samara regions reported on the progress of additional gasification and the prospects for its expansion, as well as the measures provided to support certain categories of citizens during additional gasification.

The Deputy Prime Minister instructed Gazprom structures to work more actively with citizens’ applications for additional gasification. The Ministry of Energy, together with regional authorities, has been instructed to carry out an inventory of SNT located within the boundaries of settlements gasified with network natural gas. The authorities of the constituent entities and municipalities need to organize meetings with the heads of gardening partnerships and begin collecting applications for additional gasification in order to formulate additional gasification plans. The Deputy Prime Minister drew attention to the need to comply with the deadlines for connecting to network gas.
