Order of March 18, 2024 No. 657-r

More than 3.2 billion rubles will be sent to Crimea to reimburse the costs of helping citizens affected by the hurricane in November 2023. The order on this was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The funds were allocated from the Government reserve fund. They will be provided to the region in the form of an interbudgetary transfer.

During Government meeting on March 21 Mikhail Mishustin recalled that at the end of last year Crimea faced unfavorable weather conditions. Hurricane winds, storms and heavy rains caused flooding of residential buildings. The disaster affected over 300 thousand people.

According to him, then the President ordered to carefully look into what kind of help was required. As a result, one-time payments and payments in connection with the loss of essential property were organized.

“The decision made allowed the affected residents to restore their households and begin repairing damaged housing,” the Chairman of the Government emphasized.
