SUM students successfully passed the qualifying stage of the competition on international taxation “InTax 23-24”, organized by the Federal Tax Service (FTS) of Russia.

More than 700 students from leading universities in Russia and neighboring countries took part in the qualifying stage of the Olympiad.

The tasks were aimed at testing knowledge in the field of taxation, financial analysis and accounting.

A team of students from the Department of Accounting, Audit and Taxation of the Institute of Economics and Finance of the State University of Management showed a high level of preparation and was among the 32 best teams admitted to the next stage of the competition.

“We thank the organizers for the opportunity to take part in the competition. This allowed us to dive deeper into current tax issues and expand our knowledge in this area. We gained valuable experience and improved our professional skills. We are sure that this will be useful to us in our future work,” commented the SUM students.

The selected teams will now meet each other in the next stage of the 1/16 finals, which will be held remotely from April 8 to April 12, 2024. Its winners will take part in the face-to-face stage of the competition, where the winner will be determined.

We congratulate our students on a worthy result and wish them good luck in the upcoming stages of the Olympiad!
