Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak chaired a headquarters meeting on the situation in the domestic petroleum products market with the participation of heads of oil companies, representatives of the Ministry of Energy, FAS, Ministry of Agriculture, Russian Railways and the St. Petersburg International Commodity Exchange.

According to the Ministry of Energy, the volume of gasoline and diesel fuel supplies in March to the domestic market compared to February 2024 increased by 13 thousand tons per day and 15.5 thousand tons per day, respectively. Fuel reserves remain high – 1.9 million tons of gasoline and 3.4 million tons of diesel fuel. Prices at gas stations are stable.

The Deputy Prime Minister instructed oil companies, together with Russian Railways, to ensure uninterrupted export of petroleum products and loading of refineries in accordance with the schedule and growing spring demand. Prices for agricultural producers for fuel at the beginning of spring field work should not exceed market indicators.

The situation with priority provision of the domestic market and the dynamics of fuel prices will continue to be under the control of the Government.
