In March of this year, SPbPU received a positive conclusion based on the results of the accreditation examination of the main educational program 29.04.04_01 “Materials and technologies for the production of artistic products”, implemented at IMMiT, in relation to the level of higher education – master’s degree UGSN 29.00.00 “Light Industry Technologies”.

Preparations for the procedure began in the summer of 2023. The Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Materials and Transport (IMMiT) and the Directorate of Basic Educational Programs of SPbPU had the task of not only creating and updating a set of documents in accordance with the new model of state accreditation, but also preparing graduate students for a diagnostic assessment of their knowledge – testing. This indicator is not always met, and is the most common reason for refusal to make changes to the “Register of organizations carrying out educational activities under state accredited educational programs.”

The accreditation examination took place by order of Rosobrnadzor from February 26 to March 6, 2024. Experts studied the submitted documents and the official website of SPbPU, visited the university to carry out diagnostic work.

Based on the results of the work of the expert group, the educational program passed all tests with the maximum result and confirmed the compliance of the quality of education with accreditation indicators.

The presence of state accreditation of educational activities gives the right to an educational organization to issue state-issued educational documents to students enrolled in accredited programs.
