Young. Passionate. Interested. Ambitious. This is how I saw the students, teachers and guests of St. Petersburg Polytechnic who came to my lecture “Residential architecture. AREX. RetroPerspective.” There is no doubt that the profession is in good hands, and, in the near future, we will cross paths with Polytechnic graduates on common platforms and projects. Thanks to the Deputy Director of the Civil Engineering Institute Ksenia Strelets for the amazing organization and thanks to the grateful audience, ready to delve into issues of density and height, listen to about the near future, and remember the genius loci (genius of the place). By the way, faith in youth and talent, which can change the world, will always distract you from the surrounding adversity and ups and downs,” Sergei Senkevich shared his impressions.

After the lecture, Sergei answered questions from the audience, and the students shared their impressions with the organizers.

Valeria Kozodaeva, 5th year student, VSPGiDS ISI: I would like to see more such bright and informative events with famous representatives of our field. It is very important to expand your knowledge in such global areas as urban planning.

Artyom Gazha, student, 5th year, VShPGiDS ISI: I express my deep gratitude to the Polytechnic Institute, namely Galina Bardina and Ksenia Strelets Ksenia, for inviting Sergei Senkevich.
