The implementation of the individual development program (IDP) allowed the Republic of Adygea, following the results of 4 years of operation of the mechanism, to reach a growth rate of per capita income above the Russian average and reduce unemployment. This was announced by Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov during a working visit to the Republic of Adygea.

IPRs combine sectoral measures of state support and thereby make it possible to ensure the comprehensive development of regions. Thus, IPRs create opportunities for economic growth. In general, the IPR mechanism initiated by the President has proven its effectiveness, noted the head of the Ministry of Economic Development.

“Part of the funds went to financial support for small and medium-sized businesses and agricultural producers. Thanks to state support, 378 million rubles of extra-budgetary investments were attracted,” the minister noted.

Also, thanks to the IPR, the road to the Lago-Naki plateau was reconstructed. Due to this, the growth rate of tourist flow in the Republic of Adygea has doubled, which has a positive effect on the development of the tourism sector. This included reconstruction of a 2.5 km embankment in Maykop.

“We carried out an analysis of the implementation of the mechanism of individual development programs in the regions over the past 4 years together with the relevant departments and the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation. On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, we are studying the issue of which entities could be included in the list for the next 6 years until 2030. To do this, we are updating the criteria for selecting regions. These include investments in fixed assets, the unemployment rate, tax and non-tax revenues of the regions, budgetary security,” the minister emphasized.

“This year, as part of an individual program in Adygea, the construction of the engineering infrastructure of the Enem industrial zone in the Takhtamukay district continues. A production site will appear here with the most favorable conditions for the location of manufacturing industries, within the framework of which it is planned to create about 10 thousand jobs and attract investments,” commented the head of the Republic of Adygea Murat Kumpilov.
