The educational complex in the Desenovsky settlement, which will include a school for 1,350 places and a kindergarten for 350 places, is planned to be completed in 2026. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for urban planning policy and construction Andrey Bochkarev.

“In the settlement of Desenovskoye, construction of a social facility for 1,700 places has begun. The total area of the building will be 26.6 thousand square meters. The educational complex will be built using extra-budgetary sources. It provides a school with a height of two to four floors for 1,350 students and a three-story kindergarten for 350 places,” noted Andrey Bochkarev.

The central part of the building will house a multifunctional library center and a dining hall. An IT training ground, engineering and medical laboratory and research complexes will be opened in the primary and secondary school block. On the adjacent territory they plan to build an amphitheater for recreation and outdoor activities, as well as a sports area with playgrounds.

After completion of construction, the educational complex will be transferred to the city.

As the head of the Department for the Development of New Territories of the City of Moscow said: Vladimir Zhidkin, a pit is currently being constructed and soil is being excavated for the future foundation of the building.

“The monolithic building in the shape of a star with four rays consists of several blocks: general school premises of the middle and high schools, an elementary school, a sports block and a kindergarten. In the center of the building there is a multi-light space – an amphitheater, which will become a point of attraction for students,” said Vladimir Zhidkin.

By the end of the year, they plan to build another 24 kindergartens and 29 schools in Moscow.

A social facility is being built in the New Vatutinki district at the address: Desenovskoye settlement, Desna microdistrict, block 4.

Previously Sergei Sobyanin reportedthat in the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative districts nine houses have already been put into operation under the renovation program. Four more buildings are under construction, and 10 are in the design stage. In addition, educational, sports facilities and medical facilities are being built.
