As part of the spring festival of colleges, a creative festival will be held on April 9 at the M. Gorky Film Studio “College.doc”. Schoolchildren will get acquainted with creative specialties such as “graphic designer”, “film and television production”, “technique and art of photography”, as well as other areas.

“Every year more and more young people choose to study at capital colleges, which confirms their active participation in today’s event. This emphasizes the relevance and demand for blue-collar professions. The festival has become an excellent platform for graduates who are on the verge of an important choice – determining their future activities. We sought to show in detail the advantages of the various specialties represented in our college. Participants have the opportunity to get hands-on with work processes and evaluate their own inclinations and preferences. We believe that this approach will help young people make an informed choice of profession that will suit their interests and abilities, allowing them to contribute to the development of society, ensuring the well-being of their families, city and country,” said Irina Mordvinova, acting director of the Polytechnic College named after P.A. Ovchinnikova.

Students will present their short films about promising creative professions. Schoolchildren will get acquainted with popular specialties, see exhibitions of art, photo and audiovisual projects, and also attend master classes on working with neural networks, jewelry, photography, animation, advertising, makeup and acting. “Today the country really needs young, energetic and creative personnel. It’s great when schoolchildren have the opportunity to experience different creative professions while still forming their future career path. Festivals of this level are certainly a huge contribution to the development and growth of talented youth. It’s great that there are events where masters and students gather, where they can easily ask questions and reveal the secrets of different professions,” said Maria Shchetinina, head of marketing for Internet projects at the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper.

In total, over 200 events will be held as part of the college festival, where more than 170 in-demand specialties will be discussed. They will be held at 52 city venues, including 46 colleges. Important events dedicated to the main sectors of the capital’s economy are also planned. Detailed information and registration are available on the website “Spring! College Festival”.
